FREE Graphic Timeline of Natural and Human History #homeschool

Timeline Eons FREE for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store.

If you’ve been avoiding building your own classroom timeline or centuries book you might want to consider having a look at this app.

This app is an extensive and wide-ranging timeline where you can drill down in time to a fraction of a second! Rated for ages 9 and up, I think older kids will enjoy browsing the graphics and the fun facts with links to other resources.

This app includes Natural History, World History, US History, Science and Technology, Art and Architecture and Sports.

Hope you enjoy it!

Solar Walk – 3D Solar System model app – sure beats styrofoam balls!

Now that it’s back to school time, it’s time to start thinking ahead to all those cool projects where you’ll be dreaming of whipping out your paste and glitter. Well hold on there a minute, hotshot! This year you can keep your styrofoam balls and broken wire hangers for someting else because you won’t be using it for a solar system. Not after seeing this app.

Check out Solar Walk – 3D Solar System model. It’s an unbelievable and fascinating walk through our universe. You’ll learn about the planets, their history, points of interest and more.

This highly rated app has been featured by Apple as Best Apps of 201o and 2011.

My favorite part is the price – it’s currently $0.99 – that’s 70% for back to school time.

Solar Walk – 3D Solar System model for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad on the iTunes App Store.
